According to the recent report given by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the percentage of residents of Illinois who got health insurance through their jobs fell from 74.2 to 61.6 between the 1999-2000 and 2010-2011. On the other hand, the percentage of employer-covered workers fell from 69.7 to 59.5 percent country wide. The report further states that during these periods the insurance premium cost spiked.
